You spend no small amount of time thinking and planning your outfit. From bras to tops to shoes, it is no easy task to come up with the perfect look. Despite this, many of us make the mistake of never really thinking through our choice of bottoms. Mention panties and you get two points of view from most of us girls. First, we want to look attractive and sexy. Second, we want to be comfortable. Unfortunately, most bottoms tradeoff comfort and appearance against one another. As you already know, there are a number of different styles of panties and bottoms on the market. Most women, however, aren't fully aware of just how much variety there really is. Well, we aim to cure that problem, so here are some different styles. The full brief has to be the starting point for our discussion. This is the foundation of your bottoms collection. It offers comfort and support, but next to no intimate appeal. Going grocery shopping for the family? This is the choice. The second standard bearer when it comes to women's bottoms is the bikini. Many believe it is the perfect mesh of comfort and intimacy. You can increase or decrease both by mixing and matching patterns, materials, and versions with strings on the hips. A step up on the intimate scale from the full brief is the French cut. This is a comfortable brief that has a high leg cut allowing for shorts and skirts, but lots of upper support. Not quite a bikini look, but definitely headed in that direction. The boy short is a very comfortable bottom for women. This style is very similar to biking pants, except with a snugger fit, no padding and much shorter leggings. With their low waist cuts, they go well with skirts and low cut pants. When it comes to conveying a sexy look, the thong simply can't be beat. Men go nuts for them. Comfort, however, is an issue. Some women have no problem wearing them while others find the bunched up feeling a bit too much. It is important to remember that a look is only as good as its weakest element. Think through your underwear before heading out. Sometimes comfort is the most important factor. Other times, the look or intimate element needs to be emphasized.
